École Les Élites: A Committed Journey Towards ISO 21001 Certification

As part of its ongoing commitment to improving the quality of its educational and management practices, École Les Élites has taken an important step towards ISO 21001 certification. From Thursday, September 24 to Saturday, September 26, 2026, the school launched the first stages of a structured process based on ISO 21001, the international standard dedicated to management systems for educational organizations.

To support this quality-driven initiative, the school had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Mohamed Amine M’Barki, Lead Consultant and Founder of Smart Partner, whose expertise covers quality management, strategic development, and training engineering.

Over the course of these three intensive days, strategic meetings and collaborative workshops brought together the school’s founders, administrative staff, and teaching team. This collective approach reflects the school’s determination to build its quality management system through active listening, consultation, shared responsibility, and the meaningful involvement of all relevant stakeholders.

The initial phase of this process focused on several key areas:

  • Awareness and understanding:

An in-depth introduction to ISO 21001, its requirements, and the engineering roadmap that will guide the school throughout the various stages of its certification journey.

  • Reviewing the Quality Policy:

The school’s existing Quality Policy was carefully reviewed with the aim of refining and strengthening it in line with the requirements and principles of the international standard.

  • Governance and accountability:

The governance framework of the quality management system was formally established through the appointment of process owners, ensuring clear responsibilities, well-defined roles, and effective monitoring of the school’s key activities.

  • Staff development and capacity building:

Teaching and administrative staff were directly involved in identifying and expressing their specific training needs. These inputs will contribute to the development of the school’s future staff development plan.

  • Process mapping and organizational structuring:

Key processes were clarified, stakeholder expectations were examined, and professional and educational practices were reviewed with a view to further improving their effectiveness and alignment with the requirements of an educational organization management system.

The three-day session was marked by constructive discussions, forward-looking reflections, and valuable exchanges of expertise. It also resulted in a number of concrete operational decisions aimed at strengthening the management system and preparing the school for the next stages of implementation.

As part of this long-term approach, it was also agreed that stakeholders who did not participate in this initial session will subsequently benefit from dedicated training and awareness-raising programmes on the principles and methodology of ISO 21001. This will help ensure a common understanding of the approach and foster the active involvement of all those contributing to the school’s educational mission.

For École Les Élites, this initiative goes beyond the pursuit of a certification. It reflects a long-term ambition to make quality, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement integral to the school’s culture, management practices, and educational development.

The journey towards ISO 21001 has therefore begun with a clear objective: to build a structured, participatory, and sustainable quality management system that supports educational excellence and continuous improvement.
